Halloween fun

They're Crazy and they're cooky...

Crazy pose right before trunk or treat. Kids got lots of candy. Mom is trying to be okay with that. After all, my parents let me eat whatever I wanted...what is my deal?

Smashing pumpkins!

Yes, I know...the photography place misspelled Volleyball. Cute picture other than that:) We loved our girls and they really improved this year!:)

A tour of our living quarters aboard the Splendor

Do you miss the kids?

The cruise was so relaxing, had such great food, was so exciting...we sure didn't mind being there. Of course we love our children, but for the week... we were okay! I think we might do it again. Will anyone watch our children:)??????

Small shops in Mazatlan

It was very interesting to go shopping in Mexico. I didn't really like it much to tell you the truth. Alot of that is because I didn't speak their language and could feel the pressure of being a tourist. It was sweltering hot! There were alot of children hanging out with their parents at work and we even saw a one month baby asleep in a store (so precious). I was glad we could experience this day even if I prefer shopping in the good ole USA!

Interesting....

Brad looks great in pink...don't ya think? And why would I go all the way to Mexico to buy a Cubs hat? Anyway, these pictures are for my dad (who is a big CUBS fan)!

Shopping in Mazatlan

This lady was on our cruise and totally tried to get everyone EXCITED to buy Tanzanite (whatever gem that is:). We saw her advertisements everywhere on the ship and laughed hard when we saw her blown up picture at the place the taxi let us off at(set up for sure). Someone is getting a kick back!

Serenity Deck...a place of peace.

My favorite part of the cruise would be this place. I read, listened to peaceful music, gazed at the water, enjoyed the quiet and bathed in the sun. Brad studied a bit, slept and enjoyed the sun. It was on the upper deck, no kids allowed, and had cushioned lawn chairs. Spa music played softly and the view was awe-inspiring. Cruise=Relaxation!!!!

A new animal greeted us every evening!

Our steward made a fun animal out of towels and it was great to see what what would greet us when we walked into the room.

our amazing servers!

We loved our servers. So kind, so attentive, so fun! Here is a sampling of their entertainment they provided for us!
They danced on top of platforms and had a great time!

Cabo San Lucas

So our greatest adventure gone wrong was in Cabo. We reserved an excursion through the cruise line called Eco snorkeling. We were to snorkel in two different spots. Conditions were bad for snorkeling but we were determined to try it anyway. Here are some of our pictures. Brad and I both puked in the Pacific Ocean due to seasickness and then on the way back our boat broke down. We were rescued by a nearby boat and taken to shore. From there a van from our Excursion's company came and got us and took us back to port 2 hours late. Didn't get our stuff till right before we got back on the cruise ship so I shopped in my swimsuit (lovely, NOT!). Glad I didn't know anyone there. After complaining we got 1/2 our money back (thanks to Carnival). Overall, we are glad we tried snorkeling but look forward to doing it in a better place next time...Hawaii? Caribbean? how about a Pool?

Working off the Desserts with a view...ahhhhh.....

Loved the gym where you could workout and see the ocean at the same time. We worked out three of the days there and had two active excursions so not too bad for a week:)

The Dangerous part of cruisin'....Desserts!

Unlimited icecream and desserts can be very tempting. I tried to limit myself to two icecream cones and day and 2 desserts:) YMMMMMM... However, this did not help my sugar addiction, so I am again working on self control. Brad enjoyed all kinds of desserts as well.

"Mom looks ticked!"

When we were clicking through all the pictures from our vacation with our kids we got to this picture. Spencer said "Mom looks ticked...I know that look". Sweet! (I was not ticked, just intently looking at the scenery)

Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Our first port was Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We went on the Canopy Tour which was zip lining, climbing ladders, repelling and bridges in the jungle. I forgot insect repellent so I got quite a few bites, but otherwise we had a great time. It was a great workout and was so hot and humid. We were drenched in sweat. After a crazy ride in an Army truck we headed off for training. After training,we headed off with our 5 guides to the course. Here are some pictures of our adventure...
